Today, November 3, is New Delhi Restaurant’s 34th anniversary. It was on this day in 1988, that Former Mayor Art Agnos graciously inaugurated the restaurant. During these years, we have been reviewed as “San Francisco’s finest Indian restaurant,” and are the only Indian restaurant to be awarded “Legacy Business” status by the City & County of San Francisco – a rare honor awarded to businesses that have contributed to the very fabric of this beautiful city. Guests who have dined here include President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Vice President Kamala Harris, President Obama’s family, and countless other heads of state and dignitaries. It has been our pleasure to serve the 2 million guests that have enjoyed our cuisine.
